On November 24 to 26, the Platinum Cup powered by the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Greater Toronto Hockey League hosted 24 teams across three Under-11 divisions, including ‘A,’ ‘AA,’ and ‘AAA’ teams, at Scotiabank Pond.

New this year, the tournament featured the inaugural Toronto First Responders versus Maple Leafs Alumni Game. The game saw a team of Toronto Police, Toronto Fire, and Toronto Paramedics face-off against the likes of Wendel Clark, Gary Lehman, Rick Vaive, Shawn Matthias, Frankie Corrado, and more.

The game also welcomed special guest Carlton the Bear, who entertained the crowd with many dance moves Saturday afternoon.

On the ice, teams from all over Ontario competed for the Platinum Cup, with this year’s tournament featuring champions from the Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA), Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO), and the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA).

The GTHL congratulates all 2023 Platinum Cup medalists, as well as all participants on a great weekend of competition and fun.

• Bronze: Forest Hill

• Silver: Credit River Capitals
• Bronze: Mississauga Senators
